Ok so I have about 10 different photoshoots to add here, including a bunch of my new puppy, my brother's blackbelt test, and another wedding! However I got totally distracted by my friend Alli and her Etsy shop, so I'm uploading her shots first. You'll notice that they are not heavily cleaned up for color correctness. They are being put together as emotive pieces so I wanted the overall color scheme pretty plain to keep the focus on her face or posture with minimal selective color replacement or filtering. So I made the mistake of offering critiques on the forum. Yesterday I got about 30 responses and took care of them promptly.

Then I checked this morning and I had about 30 more. I am getting to them as fast as possible! This also means I have not yet had the time to go back and gallery crawl the ones I really did like.

So I spent another bajillion hours (or so it seems) prepping Iverillian shots.

And then I spent one hour on the wedding folder and got it done in one setting.

Hullo again!

I know I haven't posted in a while. I've been busy! I have moved to Springfield, IL... had 4 or 5 odd jobs... opened a game store... and a lot more!

I have a LOT of random photography (including two weddings) to upload, but I just haven't made time to post it... weddings, friends, White Castle adventures, cats, and cosplay....

I also want to get Iverillian out of the way first for a couple of reasons. I am trying to be careful with it, as eventually I want to turn it into something more meaningful... but I really am looking for feedback on the photos from that set before I move on. Sometimes emotions are subtle and don't come across well in cosplay, and I want to make sure that the images convey some sort of over-arcing storyline.

So I briefly worked with a girl at Borders named Nicole who is awesome. She does a lot of recording and such for the local radio stations, and is always up for a good concert. She is going to drive up to Chicago to see MCR with me. But we're going to do some photographical stuff and she might be able to get some press pass type stuff. In exchange I promised to go to her birthday party and help kick it up a notch. Woohoo! And I think we might get to see/meet Papa Roach too. Which is also awesome in it's own special way.

But other than being emo at home and exhaustingly perky at work, nothing much is going on. I have suffered through my funk, and even got around to making a DevID. I have a BnW and color montage of shots of Saeru, and I'm very excited to hear from her on those. I luff them muchly and I hope she does too! I'm trying to put the build-up/portrait shots throughout the gallery, with the story tying them together. So expect one or two more portraits and then BOOM some action.
